Research Assistant Baver Bekiroğlu
He is born in 1996 in Diyarbakır and graduated from the Architecture Department of Artuklu University in 2020. Started his master’s degree in 2021 and completed it in 2024 at Istanbul Technical University, Program of Architectural Design Informatics, with his thesis titled “Digital Craft of Architectural Heritage Elements: Columns of 13th Century Anatolian Seljuk Mosques”. He participated in the production of 360 virtual tours and photogrammetry models in the SILK project, which aims to raise cultural awareness of Anatolian Seljuk Period Caravanserais. He worked on compressed earth techniques in Malatya as part of post-earthquake housing studies. In 2024, he started working as a research assistant at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Samsun University. His research areas are the digitization and reproduction processes of cultural heritage.
