Samsun Training and Research Hospital Family Medicine Clinic Chief Assistant (2015). Samsun Training and Research Hospital Associate Professorship (2017).

Research interests: Chronic disease management in family medicine, Type 2 diabetes, diabetic foot management in primary care, adult and childhood vaccines, primary care-based approach in home health services, organization of home health services, thyroid diseases, essential hypertension, workload in primary health care, electronic health records, information systems used in family medicine, health informatics and technologies, geriatric care, chronic wounds and mechanisms of their formation, chronic disease follow-up during the pandemic, home health services delivery during the pandemic, rational drug use in family medicine, diagnosis and treatment of asthma in primary care, ECG use in primary care, arrhythmias. Current research topics include SARS-CoV-2 immunology, seroconversion frequency of COVID-19 vaccines, side effects of COVID-19 vaccines, clinical efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

Selected Studies: She wrote her medical specialty thesis titled "The effect of weight gain during pregnancy on pregnancy outcomes" (2005). "Possible COVID-19 Reinfection in Two Healthcare Workers: A First Case Report from Turkey with Review of the Literature" (2021), "Covid-19 Vaccines" (2020), "Unmet Health Needs in Patients Receiving Home Health Care Services" (2018), "Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus" (2017), "Factors affecting uptake of influenza vaccination among family physicians" (2016), "Euthyroid Diffuse Goiter (Iodine Metabolism)" (2015), "Diabetic Foot Patient Management in Family Medicine Practice" (2021), "Approach to Wound in Primary Care" (2020), "Chronic Disease Follow-up during Pandemic" (2020), "Rational Drug Use in Family Medicine" (2019), "Information Systems in Family Medicine" (2012) are some of his studies. He also has oral presentations, poster presentations and speeches presented at international and national congresses. He contributed to the preparation of national family medicine guidelines such as "Ministry of Health Obesity and Diabetes Clinical Guidelines for Primary Health Care Institutions" (2017), "Ministry of Health Educator Guidelines for Individuals with Adult Diabetes" (2014), "Ministry of Health Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis Treatment Monitoring Guidelines in Primary Health Care Institutions" (2018).
