She was born in Gölcük, Kocaeli. She completed primary school, secondary school and Imam-Hatip High School in Karamürsel. She completed her undergraduate education at Atatürk University, Faculty of Theology in 1999. In 2013, she completed her master's degree with her thesis titled "Educational Methods and Application Examples of the Prophet Muhammad within the Framework of the Quran". She started her doctorate at the Hitit University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences in 2018 and completed her thesis titled "Belief Problems Experienced by Young People in the Context of Perception of God and Their Own Solution Proposals" in 2022. She worked as a teacher in the Ministry of National Education and as a writer and editor in the Textbook Writing Commission within the Curriculum and Materials of the General Directorate of Religious Education. In September 2024, she started working at Samsun University, Faculty of Theology, Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences, Department of Religious Education.
