He was born in Samsun (1977). He completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University, Atatürk Faculty of Education in 1999. He went to Germany in 2001 and continued his language education at the University of Cologne. He returned home at the end of 2010. He completed his master's degree with his thesis titled “The Effects of Family, Religion, and Media on the Identity Formation of Secondary School Youth” at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Institute of Social Sciences (March, 2014) and his doctorate with his thesis titled “The Identity Perception and Religion of the Third Generation in the Context of Multiculturalism and Integration Debates: The Cologne Example” (December, 2018). Between January 2020 and July 2024, he worked as an assistant professor at Erzincan University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Sociology, Department of Social Structure and Change. In addition to his books titled Migration and After/Conceptual Analysis in the European Context published in 2021 and Alevism Community-Identity-Differentiation in the Eyes of Those Who Remain published in 2022, he has written chapters in national and international books and articles published in journals. In July 2024, he started working at Samsun University, Faculty of Theology, Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences, Department of Sociology of Religion.
