She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Industrial Design, in 2009. In September 2009, she started her master's degree at YTU Institute of Science, Architecture, Department of Survey-Restoration Programme, completing her thesis titled 'Analytical Analysis and Conservation Methods of the Sinop Balatlar Building Complex' in 2012. In the same year, she began her doctoral studies at YTU Survey-Restoration Program Branch, completing her doctoral thesis titled 'Management of Risks Towards Historical Environment in Mass Migrations and Restoration in the Aftermath of Human-Caused Disasters in the Turn of the 21st Century' in April 2019.

Between 2011 and 2013, she worked as a research assistant at Karabuk University (KU) Architecture Department. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as an architect at the Building Audit Firm, a private company in Karabük. She also served as a part-time lecturer at KU from 2014 to 2016. From June 2018 to March 2019, she worked as a researcher on the TÜBİTAK research project 'Plural Heritages of Istanbul: The Case of the Land Walls' at Istanbul Bilgi University.

Since 2010, she has been a member of the archaeological excavation team for the 'Istanbul/Beykoz Yoros Castle' and 'Sinop Balatlar Church' excavations. Her research and publications encompass topics such as the conservation of archaeological sites, disaster risk management, preservation of cultural heritage during times of conflict or war, the impact of mass migration on cultural heritage, and the protection of cultural landscapes/historical environments. Since December 2019, she has been working as an Instructor at Samsun University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture, where she continues to contribute.
