He was born in Istanbul, Beykoz, in 1978. After completing elementary school, he completed his memorization of the Quran (hafızlık) at Beykoz Elmalı Köyü Qur'an School. He graduated from Beykoz Imam Hatip High School. In 2004, he graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Theology. In 2017, he completed his master's thesis titled "Muhammad Idris Kandehlevi's Hadith Commentary in the Context of et-Ta'lîku's-sabih" at the Social Sciences Institute of the same university, becoming an expert in the field of hadith.

In 2018, he started his doctoral studies at Kastamonu University, and he is still continuing his doctoral research. He served in various positions within the provincial organization of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı) from 2004 to 2018, including Imam-Hatip, District Preacher (Vaiz), and District Mufti. From 2018 to 2023, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Qur'an Recitation and Qiraat Sciences at Bartın University, Faculty of Islamic Sciences. Since 2023, he has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Qur'an Recitation and Qiraat Sciences at Samsun University, Faculty of Theology.

His academic areas of interest are hadith and the science of Qur'an recitation (kiraat ilmi).
