He was born in 1982 in Şişli district of Istanbul. He completed his primary education at Bafra Atatürk Primary School and his secondary education at Samsun Atakum Industrial Vocational High School, Department of Chemistry. He completed his undergraduate education at Ondokuz Mayıs University (Samsun), Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Chemistry in 2005. Between 2005-2006, he worked as a laboratory technician in Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Medicine, Emergency Biochemistry Laboratory as a contracted personnel for one and a half years. In February 2006, he started his graduate studies at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Institute of Science, Department of Chemistry, Analytical Science Branch. In February 2009, he completed his master's degree and started his doctoral studies in the same year. In November 2010, he was appointed as a Research Assistant to Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Chemistry. In September 2013, he completed his PhD education and in January 2014, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Chemistry.

In December 2017, he applied for Associate Professorship in the field of Chemistry and as a result of the necessary examinations, he was entitled to receive the title of DOOCENT given by the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) as of 15 August 2018. In April 2019, he started working at Samsun University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering and still continues his studies here. His areas of expertise are Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Potentiometry, Chemical sensors, Biosensors, Sensor Technologies and Flow Injection Analysis Systems. He has 19 international articles, 2 national articles, 14 international oral and poster presentations and 21 national presentations in this field. He is married and has two children, one girl and one boy.
