‘He was born in Trabzon in 1972. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Trabzon. He completed his undergraduate education at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Electrical-Electronics Engineering (Electronics) department in 1993. He completed his Master's Degree at Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Electronics-Computer Education (Computer) in 1999. He completed his PhD at Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Electronics) in 2013. In his master thesis, he worked on ‘Hardware Assisted Software Protector (with Microcontroller)’. In his doctoral thesis, he worked on ‘Investigation of Short- and Long-Term Memory Behaviour of Motif-Based Biological Neural Networks’.
Between 1996-2006, he worked as a lecturer at Karadeniz Technical University Ordu Vocational High School Technical Programmes Department-Industrial Electronics Programme and between 2006-2014, he worked as a lecturer at Ordu University Ordu Vocational High School Electronics Automation Department Electronics Technology Programme. Between 2014-2017, he worked as Asst. Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Ordu University Technical Sciences Vocational School, Electronics Automation Department, Electronics Technology Department.

Between 2017-2019, he worked as Dr. Lecturer at Kastamonu University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He worked as a lecturer. Since 2020, he has been working as a Dr. Lecturer in Samsun University Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering. He has been working as a lecturer.
He works on biological nerve cell modelling, biological network motif modelling. He has studies on memory span and learning. He is also working on the creation of biological networks on embedded systems. He teaches Electronics, Circuit theory, Microprocessors - Microcontrollers, Signals and systems, Logic circuits courses in undergraduate programme and Biomedical system modelling, Biomedical applications in embedded systems, Computational neuroscience courses in graduate programmes.
He is married and has four children.  ’
